I have a '85 bronco II 5sp. 4x4 eddie bouer edtion,   what is the oldest carburator I can put on my truck to save gas ?

I removed the smog pump and hoses that goes with it and unpluged all the electronics to the carburator,   this truck I put in $30.00 of gas and get only 100 miles till I have to fill up again, how can I get at least 200 miles to the fill up ?
