First thing would be to check the firing order. It is 1-4-2-5-3-6. Cyl. are numbered front to rear right side or passenger side 1-2-3 Drivers side 4-5-6. On your coil pack should have cyl. numbers on it. If not right or passenger side 1-2-3 from front to rear. Left side of coil pack 5-6-4 front to rear. It is also possiable that the plug wires, coil,or spark plugs could be bad. See if this helps. If you need more help just let me know

Reply to 32dmadden's Post: I have not messed with the spark plug wires and I have changed the plugs in the last three moonths some people say there may be water in the gas it runs and does not stall but acts as if it will it runs like crap but is drivable. I know that the fireing order is right and i will accept your answer if you can go into more detail I dont think that the plugs would all go bad and the wires are all bad and i know if the coil was bad the truck would not run. And I dont think the truck is out of time I have had the computer replaced in the last 8 months by Ford Thank you ASAP----

The coil may be bad and the engine still run. It depends where the short or open occurs in the coil whindings. If you have an ohm meter you can check the whindings. The primary side whitch is the red and green wires on the coil should read between 1 and 10 ohms The secondary is the coil wire terminal and negative. Should read 10,000 to15,000 ohms. Also check the fuel pressure. Should read 35 to 45 psi. Ifyou don't have a gauge most auto parts stores have one for rent. Take the fuel filter off then empty the filter into a jar. Check for water. Can you blow freely though the filter. if not replace. It won't hurt to put on a new one while you are there. Also check the coil wire for resistance. 1000 ohms per inch is the correct reading
