Help Cranking Dirt Logic Coilovers

I have 2.5 Dirt Logic Adjustable coilovers and I'd like to find a trick to lower the adjustable collar. Right now the collar moves in conjunction with the threads. The threads are on the outside of the shock and they're not supposed to move together as one, but independently so the collar can spin up and down the threads just like a nut on a screw. I need to find a way to raise my coilovers so I can clear my tires. There is a spanner wrench that latches onto the holes in the collar and spins the collar up and down the threads as you please. I've lubricated the threads with wd40 and I've jacked the truck up on the front diff skidplate, not the a-arms so the coilover is not compressed. Regardless the collar still spins in conjunction with the threads about 90% of the time. I lost all the nitrogen in the shock when I spun the shock out of the coilover assembly, it was inevitable and I did not know that was going to happen. Regardless I need to figure out a way to crank the coilovers up higher. Any ideas? Thanks.

I've tried lubricating the threads and loosening the allenwrench head completely.
