I have a 1984 Toyota 4x4 with manual 5 speed transmission. 22R 4x4 SR5.When truck is in neutral,parking brake on, RPM between 800&1000.When clutch is engaged,RPM drops below 500 and dies.But will restart. Hope you can help Thanks!!!!!

no noise coming from the clutch. Clutch works fine with RPM up.

The throw out bearing is the only thing that can respond that way but I would expect it to be making some noise.
