i have a 1995 chevy s-10 4x4 vortec 4.3L v-6 truck..while driving her to a stop sign she acted like she was out of gas, i let her sit over night and the next morning she fired up fine, i ran her for no more then 10 minutes in park, then when i tried turn her over she wouldnt start. i had someone look at her and the fuel pump is working fine, but she seems to not be getting any power to it, while he was checking out my truck for the problem, i noticed that also my turn signals just stopped working along with other dash lights, abs, air bag lights and the all the lights in the dash that light up right before you start the engine..
.my hubby is currently serving over in afghanistan and i have 3 kids here, i can't do this alone..i have bought already at this so called mechaninc request a fuel pump, fuel filter, 3 fuel pump relays that this person said i needed to fix my truck, but nothing works..
would a competant mechanic please to tell me what to do and how to fix this, now this guy is saying i need a PCM power control module which according to the parts store i went to, they have never heard of this thing called a PCM...thanks so much for any and all help on this...Betty
P.S. I just checked the fuse for the ECM batt and it was fine..now what???
also i was told i should have two fuse boxes..i found one by the side of the drivers dash but one is supossed to be under the hood, if so does anyone know where???
